Noticed flashes of white-crowned sparrows as they flitted around in a row of white cedars in our yard. Finally saw three of them gleaning beneath the nyjer feeders but they flew off before I could grab my phone. I was able to capture a photo of one that returned a little later. Not a great photo, but it shows the striking markings.
