My first time registering & reporting for Journey North! Milkweed has been sprouting and up for about a week ~ bright green and tender ~ never planted but has been popping up in front and back yards for some 30 years ~ and today was my first Monarch sighting of the year! Have seen lots of eggs, instars, cats & butterflies over the years. 2021 was very sparse: hoping for a banner year this year.
