We saw our first house wren of the year! It was investigating our wren/chickadee houses. I had put sawdust in one of the houses for the chickadees that were here. The wren went inside the house and almost immediately started cleaning out the sawdust, beak by beak! Apparently wrens don’t like sawdust!
