I hadn’t put out my hummingbird feeders yet but saw a hummingbird check out my suet feeder on 5/7/22, so I filled and set out 2. The hummingbird(s?) found the nectar within the hour.
I shared this info with my next door neighbor, to find out that her husband had put out his hummingbird feeders in April. I assume that his feeders may have been the reason I had my first hummingbird visitor before my feeders were even out?
