Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/11/2022

Number: 2

Observed 2 male RTHBs at noon lunch break, very little time at feeder, perched, took several sips together then were off, today unusually warm 85°F and plenty of spring blooms despite dry stretch.

Wondered if these two are 'clockwork' twin eleven-month olds, together again exactly eight months and a couple hours later than the last moment they were observed (bottom row) last season (September 11, 2021, 10a.m.) as pudgy fat blobs, but now with spiffy new suits and built for business. (Little guy always on the right, with even littler guy on the left who cannot drink perched without really stretching his neck)
