EXTREMELY hot and humid here the last few days with heat indexes above 100 and winds from the south. Saw my first monarch fluttering through unexpectedly today. I've never seen one this early before. There is plenty of nectar but I haven't seen any milkweed on my property yet. Things are growing very very quickly this week with the heat and humidity however.
