single adult eagle seen on the usual perch in huge cottonwood above the west (downstream right) bank of the Kennebec River along lower Water St. this eagle had enough portraiture and soon departed downstream along the river bank in full powered flight. minutes earlier we had seen an adult eagle soaring above Water St. near the VFW hall; perhaps the same eagle?
