The milkweed plants in our home garden began to show up this past week or so.

In the photo, that's a swamp milkweed at the top left and a common milkweed at the top right. The two bottom photos are of a couple of butterfly weed plants.

The fencing around each is to keep the local critters from nibbling on the young sprouts.
