Saw the first monarch today. The day started out cool and foggy, with a sea breeze. In the afternoon, the wind changed to SW. As the warm, humid air moved in, that's when the monarch came. It zoomed about the yard a few times, and left to the NE. My common milkweed emerged a couple of days ago, only standing about 4" tall.
