One adult monarch butterfly observed nectaring on dandelions.

Terrible snapshot of subject individual in a field flying between dandelions, taken from about fifty feet away. Did not chase it but from naked eye I'm 99% certain it was a monarch based upon size, color, and flight. (I've also seen a couple look-alike butterflies of other species during the past week).
