Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/24/2022

Number: 1

Reported by Don Davis: Noted birdwatcher Rick Whitman contacted this writer by phone from Nova Scotia to confirm his report of one monarch spotted at Whipple Point, Briar Island, Nova Scotia. Rick reported that the monarch appeared tired and was perhaps resting. We both wonder if this monarch had a long flight over water to reach this land area - tip of an island.
