One was very bright and the other had a scraggly appearance. Milkweed is not up on our 22 acre property that we manage for monarchs. It is best described as disturbed prairie. We do have some native prairie plants appearing such as blazing star and even yelllow prairie orchid. We have thousands of milkweed plants on our property. . . We are a registered monarch waystation with Monarch watch.

We do have milkweed up. Some as much as a foot in height.
