I am reporting this sighting from Brentwood, NH, which is next to Exeter, NH and about a half hour from the northeast MA border. A female Monarch discovered a group of small Common Milkweeds in my stepmom’s garden and layed 3 eggs as I reported in First Egg Sighted.
I was not able to get a picture because the butterfly would not stay still.
The female Monarch was beautiful.
A deep orange a very vibrant markings.
