Reported by Don Davis: David Southby of Penfield, New York (a suburb of Rochester) spotted one monarch on May 26/22. His wife states: Just a brief look then it flew up over the house and vanished. Lots of milkweed in our yard, so if it was female we may have eggs. We have a park near us with huge amounts of milkweed, so will be interesting to check out when we get back in town."
