Monarch Waystation #271 reports a small faded monarch female seen laying eggs on backyard swamp milkweeds [and other mw species] about 3:05 pm, while fighting some tough breezes. This was a cool day, temps finally got warm enough for flight in the afternoon. Temps in mid to upper 50s with breezes earlier in the day.
