Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 06/01/2022

Number: 2

Two eggs finally hatched after seven days. (The prior generation also took about a week to hatch.) They are on two separate fascicularis plants.

Most of the prior generation left the plants early and probably died. It was a bit cold and about four larvae about 3/4” and a week too young to be fully developed left the plants and were crawling nearby.
