Saw at least 2 Monarchs in the yard today, got very close to a female on the lilacs. The grassland has Dogwood blooming on the borders, Golden alexander is showing some color. Fragrant false indigo is beginning to bud. The Common milkweed in the garden has grown from 1" to 5" in 3 days.
