Three adult monarchs in a field area of approximately one acre observed mid morning for one-half hour, sunny 67°F light southerly breeze. They were fresh-looking and spending a lot of time intently nectaring on dandelions, with fast, energetic flights in between. This is the first day I've observed adults in numbers here, and one day after spotting an egg on common milkweed.
