Sighting on ground in open bean field. Appeared to be eating, as this area was covered with turkey vultures shortly following the departure of the Bald Eagle. This area is surrounded by dense forest on 3 sides, with frequent sighting of turkey vultures and hawks.
The experienced hunter(turkey, deer, ducks, ECT) sighted the Bald Eagle at approximately 150 yards and used 12x25 binoculars for sighting confirmation.
