Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)

Date: 06/06/2022

Number: 1

The last time I saw an adult male rubythroat come to flowers and feeder was April 27th. Then a lot of tweeting about 3 days in a row in May while sitting out on patio in backyard two weeks ago. I'm trying to figure if a nest is in the Holly tree where the juvenile was doing the up and down maneuver off wires to house. Haven't seen it since that area.(June 5th)

It has been so darn hot with mosquitoes hampering the search.   I do see quick darts , looks like a female hummingbird up in neighbors magnolia tree left of patio in late afternoon. We have a lot of windows facing north I can see out when moving around in house.

The juevinnile had hardly a tail and its beak was long as the body. It sure didn't look old enough to be on it's own.

   I'll keep JN
posted.
