I saw three adult Monarchs yesterday, June 7, 2022 in Chisholm Creek Park/Great Plains Nature Center in Wichita, KS. One was resting on prairie grass, another resting in and elm tree and another flying north. Prior to yesterday I had not seen a Monarch in the park since late April. Friday, June 3, I noticed the first blooming of Butterfly Milkweed. I now see it in numerous places in the open prairie on the north side of the park.
