Volunteer gardeners have scattered Milkweed seeds near the fields and woodlands for several years. In 2022, Common Milkweed colonies are growing in the Wesley Community.

I have not seen any Monarch Butterflies yet, but I hope Monarch eggs soon will be deposited on the undersides of Common Milkweed leaves.
