I haven’t seen an adult monarch yet, in my yard or anywhere in the area, but I did find a second instar caterpillar on one of the many common milkweed plants I have growing in my yard. I didn’t check further but hopefully there are many more! The milkweed is in great shape this year and getting close to flowering.
