I finally saw my first monarch of the season in my yard this noon. I was starting to worry since I was already finding eggs in early June last year. Have not seen any eggs yet this year, but my swamp milkweed flower buds are just getting ready to bloom (and will hopefully attract some females ready to lay eggs!)
