Hi I have been watching 1 male rufous hummingbird .It's now 4:30 pm, he hasn't moved from his perch for 2hours.I know he's the one that controls my feeder but today not so. Through my binoculars I see he moves head occasionally yet hasn't eaten. Can they sleep in the daytime? Never observed this before.
