My first monarch eggs of the season (about 2 weeks behind last year.) Today around noon was the first time I’d seen a monarch around the back yard. Looked for eggs on 3 large swamp milkweeds and a number of 4-foot+ common milkweeds - nothing. All three of these eggs came from little common milkweed starts (less than 6” tall.)
