I live near Playa Vista in Del Rey. The past 3 years I’ve have released approx 2,000 monarchs. Sometimes 10-15 at a time. This year is a completely different story. Only 9 so far. I’ve gotten plants from both Armstrongs and the Garden Center. Also tried cuttings from my 2 milkweed gardens in front and backyard. They aren’t making it. The stores swear they are not sprayed. Not as many eggs to be found. It’s so sad and perplexing. There have always been 3-5 monarchs flying around my house and this season I see maybe 1 a day. Anybody else experiencing this?
