Monarch butterfly flew over my head in my yard and landed on Texas Sage bush. Then flew awy, out of my sight. I left to get camera. When I came back, I Found one Monarch butterfly on my milkweed, acting like she was laying eggs, I took photos; the Monarch then flew to Mexican sunflower bush and landed on flower. Took photos. Then, monarch flew and landed on Firebush, as if resting, maybe? I Took one more photo, then left her alone. When I went back into the yard about 30 minutes later, I saw possibly the same Monarch "resting" on a Mexican Sunflower leaf, took a photo, and then left. I have not seen monarchs for a long time, my last "sighting" post was maybe April? So this was exciting!
