11:40am 22°c after an overnight low of 13. Cold front arrived overnight bringing 6/22 daytime high of 30°c+ down to 13 overnight.
Sunny with 13/27 kmh North wind.
Observed a female intensely nectaring on Common Milkweed blossoms at back of house. She flitted back & forth a few times & also landed a few more times & after about 10 mins left the area flying sw.
Did not see her lay eggs nor did I locate any near where I saw her however I have ALOT of milkweed & it's impossible to check all.
Flowers are finally beginning to bloom...Sweet Peas, ceropsis, lavender.
Common now blooming with Swamp & Butterflyweed soon to follow.

3:15pm- 26°c, sunny with N wind @ 16/26kmh
Observed a monarch at front of house above shoulder of road lying from east to west & out of view. Unsure if it had visited nearby Common mw.
4:20pm- 27°c Sunny with N wind @ 16/26kmh. Observed at far back of house a monarch arrive from the west & flit east to behind barn & out of view.
Next 10 daytime highs of 23-28°c & overnight lows of 14-21 with rain/coldfront in the forecast for 25th into 26th.
