Male Ruby hummingbird at the feeder at 8:38 p.m. central time. Yes it’s true they eat until it’s dark. I bring my feeders in at night because the raccoons have a nasty habit of draining them. I had two males on the last two feeders I had out . I am sure neither one saw the other. Dark enough for camera flash to go off.
