At least 4 sighted at same time, resident adult male and 3 females or juveniles. Tremendous activity recently. I would suspect that females are working to start their 2nd nests of the season and new juveniles are hard at work learning to establish territory. I did experience a super cool encounter that I've only read about until today. Late afternoon/early evening, I was watering and either a female or juvenile approached me very close and then proceeded to enjoy the spray of the water. She would perch and come back into the spray. She did this multiple times. It was awesome. Based upon the behavior of a couple individuals and how comfortable they are in my presence, I do believe some of my juvenile females from last year have returned.
