First mated pair of the season!
I'll have to check my JN reports but I don't think I've ever had a mated pair in June. Usually around 6 per season in July & Aug.
At sunset around 9 pm observed a male carrying female fly west above our driveway toward our front sycamore tree. Ran in to grab cam but couldn't relocate.
A minute before I had been sitting out front, brought my caneras in, returned outside to water plants when I saw them. 26°c, sunny, SW wind @ 18/30kmh
Daytime high reached 30°c.
