while walking west on the Marsh Boardwalk at Point Pelee National Park observed a monarch about 6' high cut right across our path, fighting the wind flying North to south toward Tip.
It's usually around now that annually I see in the park, monarchs in direct flight N to S. Also at my home outside the park I'll them come from the east & then fly S cutting through our 5 acre property to migrate south to the park.
