We saw 1 adult female laying eggs in our backyard Waystation. We also identified 20 eggs. She laid most of her eggs on swamp milkweed, and a few on showy. We did not see any eggs on the common or narrow leaf milkweed nor the butterfly weed.

It was about 10 a.m. and it was a hot July day, approaching the high 90.
