After learning a fun way to release monarchs from someone at the UofM Monarch lab, I approached a dad and mom and 2 kids at the park. After getting approval from the parents to let their kids release the male Monarch, the little boy stepped up and successfully released it. I could hear the kids talking with the parents about how much fun it was. It was a great 4th of July. GO MONARCHS!
