This is only the second monarch I’ve seen in my area so far this year. It is Fourth of July. Monarch came into my back yard and landed on the Joe Pye briefly, and then flew away. It did not visit any of my milkweed. Still encouraging to see a monarch. I didn’t have my phone on me, so was not able to get a picture.
