Temp from 24°c- high of 30°c.
Sunny & humid. Afternoon became partly cloudy with rain/cold front in the forecast for tonight into tomorrow. SW wind light to moderate all day.
At least 6 monarchs seen today on & off from 9:10 am til about 5:30pm. Some identifiable by m or f or snips/tears in wing, 1 very faded female.
Saw a few come from the east & continue west. Others stayed and nectared on both Common & Swamp milkweed. Two males nectared for at least an hour on Common mw across the road on the dike bank from seeds I've tossed over the years. Did not see the one faded female lay eggs.
3 times saw 2 dance/circle in the sky.
