One female Monarch was nectaring on Asclepias incarnata in my garden for several hours. Although I saw a couple of Monarchs in early June and found some cats nearby, but this seemed rather early, perhaps the Monarchs got caught on a stiff wind. I considered this the first Monarch of the season for my garden.
