At 10:10 a.m. a female Monarch was sighted flying in the backyard. She first flew to the large common milkweed patch(approximately 50 plants that were in morning shade) and landed on a few plants. She then flew about 50 feet to another patch of common milkweed (approximately 20 plants in full sun) and appeared to be laying eggs on almost every plant. It was a sunny morning with the temperature in the mid 70s F.
