Sightings report image

Date: 07/09/2022

Number: 1

I took the caterpillar captive June 25. By June 28 he was a Chrysalis. He hatched between morning and 2 pm Saturday July 9. I kept him in a terrarium w watermelon and orange slices and released him Sunday morning on the area i found him as a caterpillar. The area is the power line path off Kristen Road.
I continue to look for evidence of caterpillars - chewing, poops, eggs, but haven’t seen any since sighting two, one of which i brought home and hatched. Marcus Aurelius Monarch i pray is finding a female to romance.
