adult eagle now perched on customary dead branch of large black cottonwood along western shore of Kennebec River. eagle was not here 3 minutes ago when we walked south, but is now present. this image confirms bald eagles(s) perched in this tree each of 12 months of year. though not all same calendar year since December 2020.
