First 2022 sighting (7:43 A.M. Mountain Time) of a male Rufous Hummingbird visiting nectar feeders and chasing Black-chinned Hummingbirds. Rufous Hummingbirds typically arrive here during the first two weeks of July each year on their southward migration through the Rocky Mountains.
