First monarch noted in this area! I planted narrow-leaved milkweed and then showy milkweed, but in 8 years have never seen a monarch here. On June 20, 2022 I saw the first one on my milkweed! I have seen it regularly since then and have assumed it was the same one, since I only ever saw one at a time. The attached picture is from a later date since I didn’t get a good shot that first day.
