The date is approximate: I can’t remember what the exact date was, but we moved to Colfax from Sacramento in January 2014, and brought our narrow-leaved milkweed from our garden with us in pots. At some point in the next year or so it made it into the ground. They’ve always had lots of yellow aphids, but so far this year they seem to be minimal in number (maybe because we had a lot of snow last winter (2021-2022) or late frost?). Anyway, the milkweed patch has grown a little; we have a couple small showy milkweed plants too. The status of this milkweed is good as of July 2022.
