10:28am- 21°c Sunny with NE wind @6/12kmh. Cold front- Overnight low 14°c.
Busy day in the gardens with about 6 monarchs including an ovipositing female & other lepidoptera from 10:30am to seeing a Cecropia moth at 9:30pm! Monarchs nectared on Common mw & elecampane & a few arrived from the east & continued right on by to the west.
3:40pm 25°c, Sunny, south wind @ 4/10kmh.- pristine female ovipositing on Common.
Also seen, whites, sulphurs, silver-spotted skippers, eastern Comma & lots of azures.
