We watched this female scatter eggs in our yard. She found young milkweed in pots under the shade trees and laid over 24 eggs on potted milkweed. I found eggs on common and showy milkweed. She spent some time near milkweed planted in the Waystation, which includes showy, swamp and butterfly weed.

It was a sunny humid day about 4 pm. The temperature was 76 degrees. It was the day after a rain storm.
