This was the first monarch I spotted. He mainly flittered about exploring all the butterfly bushes and milkweed plants. We have 7 assorted butterfly bush, approx. 12 mature milkweed about the property. I also winterized pods and grew approx. 30 plants and gave away to local friends in Broomall PA and to Seaville NJ. I had much success with monarchs finding up to 12 caterpillars on 1 milkweed at a time. So far I've seen about 10 total butterf. Without actively searching... Dealing with family illness. I will try to do better reordering as summer continues as I know they're now listed endangered.
