Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 07/23/2022

Number: 20

For the past week, multiple males and females have been aggressively possessing the three feeders we put out using slightly less concentrated sugar water due to drought conditions in the area. Yesterday saw first thunderstorms in the area in a week, and possibly more today, but the birds do not appear to be heading south, rather they are working the feeders and over-nighting. Today was more activity that any day this week.
