First 2022 sighting of a male Calliope Hummingbird feeding at nectar feeders with a few Rufous and many Black-chinned Hummingbirds during our evening observation 8:10 P.M. 07/23/22. Rufous and Calliope Hummingbirds annually arrive here in mid to late July while migrating southward through Rocky Mountains.
