Where are the Monarch butterflies?? I have spotted maybe a dozen eggs over the past month, but have only seen the Monarchs around the Mpls area 4 or 5 times this year. I have ample milkweed and favorite flowers, as do many near me, but the Monarchs just aren’t here like past years. I suspect the climate issues are a major factor. Just for reference: I’ve had only a few hummingbirds this year, and have had only 2 or 3 bees this spring, so my cherry plants went unpollinated. Unusual and unbelievable! :(
